We recognise that older people can retain many of their capabilities albeit perhaps restricted in certain areas because of their advanced years. We aim to provide the best possible safe environment to encourage independence, dignity and freedom of choice along with promoting physical well being and intellectual stimulation.

Moving in can be stressful for both residents and relatives and great care is taken to arrange this in a caring and sensitive manner. Residents are encouraged to bring in items of a personal nature such as pictures and photographs and small items of furniture to ensure that there are "reference points" to ease the transition.
